Finally tired of cleaning oil splatter – splatter screen worth it?
Hi all, I cook almost daily and the amount of grease that flies out of the pan is insane. My stove, counter, even the nearby fridge door gets covered in tiny dots. Been thinking about getting a splatter screen for frying pan for ages but never pulled the trigger. Does it really solve most of the problem or do you still have to wipe everything? Any tips on what to look for?

It’s honestly one of the best small kitchen upgrades I’ve made. Before I got one I was wiping down half the kitchen after almost every frying session. Now the stove and surrounding areas stay pretty clean – maybe a quick swipe once or twice a week at most. The key is a fine stainless mesh that’s not too loose. It lets enough steam through so your food doesn’t steam instead of fry, but catches the majority of the oil spray. I’ve been using a 13-inch one for close to two years and it still performs like new. This one has a solid handle and nice weight to it – splatter screen for frying pan . Very practical and easy to clean under the tap in seconds. Definitely recommend if you fry often.
